VinylPlus Supports PVC 2027 – Call for Papers Now Open
VinylPlus will once again support the global PVC Conference series, alongside PVC associations from around the world, as PVC 2027 returns to the Edinburgh International Conference Centre on 12–15 April 2027. Organised by IOM3 in close cooperation with the international PVC community, PVC 2027 continues the long-standing triennial tradition of bringing together the global PVC value chain for high-level knowledge exchange, technical discussion and networking.
Call for Papers
The call for papers is now open, with abstracts of up to 300 words invited by 30 April 2026.
The conference programme will cover a broad range of strategic, technical and market-related topics, including:
- Strategy, direction and global markets
- Future trends in the circular economy within the PVC industry
- The journey to net-zero carbon
- Regulatory and environmental matters
- Plastisols and flexible PVC
- AI, lean manufacturing, Industry 4.0, machinery and processing technology
- Additives, including advances in stabilisation, flame retardancy, modifiers and weathering
- Polymerisation, resin development and production
- Markets, products and applications – innovation with PVC
A Global Conference for the PVC Industry
Building on the success of PVC 2024, which welcomed more than 400 delegates from 37 countries across six continents, PVC 2027 is expected to deliver a strong international programme of speakers and high-quality networking opportunities.
The conference is developed by an international team of volunteers from leading organisations in the PVC industry and is supported by a broad partnership of global and regional PVC associations, including VinylPlus.
