About VinylPlus
VinylPlus® is the European PVC industry’s commitment to sustainable development. It brings together the PVC value chain in Europe to improve the sustainability and circularity of PVC products and to strengthen their contribution to society. VinylPlus provides a long-term framework for collaboration, technical progress, transparent reporting and stakeholder engagement across the value chain.

Our Vision
“VinylPlus enables a sustainable and future-proof PVC value chain, driving innovation and collaboration across Europe. We empower our partners to achieve their sustainability goals while championing social, economic, and environmental progress. Based on a robust scientific foundation, we nurture best practices, pioneer technical advances, and engage with stakeholders at all levels. VinylPlus leads the way in shaping a circular and responsible PVC value chain.”

A European Commitment With a Long-Term View
The first voluntary VinylPlus commitment was launched in 2000. The current VinylPlus 2030 Commitment builds on more than 20 years of progress, with measurable targets, independent monitoring and third-party verification. Since 2000, around €140 million has been invested in sustainable development through VinylPlus-related efforts.
In 2025, VinylPlus carried out a mid-term review of its 2030 Commitment to refine its priorities in light of market developments, regulatory change and its updated strategic direction. The process involved stakeholders from across the value chain as well as policymakers, NGOs and academia, and the revised Commitment was launched in 2026.
