New hospital in VinylPlus® Med: AZ Zeno Knokke-Heist
We're happy to announce that AZ Zeno Knokke-Heist has become the 15th hospital to join the VinylPlus® Med recycling scheme for PVC medical devices.
AZ Zeno is a modern healthcare institution comprising three campuses, with its newest facility situated in Knokke-Heist, and additional revamped campuses in Blankenberge and Maldegem. This state-of-the-art hospital, inspired by the works of René Magritte, seamlessly integrates with the natural landscape and prioritizes the use of natural light, providing an inviting, inspiring, and sustainable environment for healthcare delivery. The facility extends over 20 hectares and comprises not only a hospital but also a rehabilitation center, a care hotel, an outpatients clinic, lecture halls, public event spaces, and a helipad.
Completed in December 2017, the Knokke-Heist campus features a total floor area of 52,000 m², reflecting the scale and ambition of the hospital's design and its commitment to providing a high-quality healthcare environment.
